AEH had her first soccer practice this week. They will practice for a couple of weeks before they play their first game. She seemed to like it okay. On the way to practice she told me that she wanted to win and get a medal. I told her that this was just practice and that she didn't know how to play yet. She was ready for the big game. How do they learn that competitiveness so early?
She started off totally missing the ball at first( we were really ready to win, huh) but by the end of practice she was making contact with the ball and having fun. She got tired at one point and said she didn't want to play soccer but that didn't last long before she was back out there. There are 7 girls on her team and they each bring there on ball for practice and they do drills. This is all new to me but when they play their games they won't keep score and there won't be an actual winner. Her coach is really nice and SLH has volunteered to help him this season.
Here are a few pictures of the first BIG practice.
All ready to play!
Not quite sure what she was doing here. I think she thought she made a good play. :)
Just look at that kick!
EMH enjoyed playing in the grass. Thank goodness he only got one bite.
We made it through the first soccer practice and EMH had, had enough.
AEH also started gymnastics last week. She is enjoying it as well. Maybe I can get some pictures this week.

It looks like she was having a lot of fun! Where does she take gymnastics? AC took gymnastic and cheer before we moved here and has asked to take again.
I hope she enjoys this season! They are so cute at this age.
And I know where she learned competitiveness...there are some people in her house that are highly competitive if I am not mistaken!!!! ;)
